Shawarmas
(Nice to make for lunch with leftover meat)
INGREDIENTS
Cooked chicken strips / turkey strips / beef strips
Pita bread (less than 2g fat per 100g)
Finely chopped spinach
Finely chopped onion
Finley chopped mushrooms
Finely chopped peppers (red, yellow, green)
Jalapeno’s
Gherkins
No oil based Chilli / Sweet Chilli Sauce
Salt & Pepper
DIRECTIONS
Spread chilli sauce inside pita.
Add meat.
Add rest of the ingredients to taste.
Serving: 1 full protein & 1 full carb
TIPS: Make sure of the protein sizes, if you cannot use your hands to measure read the label and follow the 20g/100g protein rule.
